Dr. Miriam Galindo is a Clinical Psychologist who shares a private practice in Irvine, California with her husband Dr. Jorge Galindo. Specializing in counseling children and families, Dr. Galindo has extensive experience working with family courts in divorce and child custody cases and is on the approved panel of experts for Orange County Superior Court.
Dr. Galindo attended Chapman University in Orange, California, where her academic coursework included psychology; intensive music theory and classical piano; and a heavy concentration on the biological sciences. A recipient of the coveted Gray Key Award and the Los Angeles Philanthropic Scholarship Award, she maintained top honors throughout her undergraduate program and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She earned a Master of Social Work from California State University in Long Beach. During her time at CSULB, Dr. Miriam Galindo was on the President’s List and received the Outstanding Master’s Graduate Award. She also spent an extra year working as a research assistant while completing graduate courses in public health and nursing law. She then completed her Doctorate in Psychology before earning a post-graduate certificate in Paralegal Studies.
Committed to making contributions to her community, Dr. Miriam Galindo maintains memberships with several professional organizations. Dr. Galindo is credentialed and registered as a Child Play Therapist by the Association for Play Therapy.
